Forvis Mazars has brought in Elizabeth Young as a partner within its Risk Assurance service line, assigning her to its office in Glasgow, Scotland.
In the new role, Young will concentrate on developing services for public sector bodies with the aim of broadening the company’s offer in that market and consolidating its position across Scotland.

Young is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland (ICAS) and the Chartered Institute of Internal Auditors (Chartered IIA).
During a career spanning nearly 20 years, Young has held senior internal positions and has also worked in advisory roles, delivering outsourced internal audit work for public sector organisations alongside commercial and third-sector clients.

Earlier this month, Forvis Mazars appointed Shivani Bhattessa as partner, Audit Quality Enablement & Operations, based in its London office.
The appointment is aligned with the company’s focus on strengthening technical standards, audit quality and talent development.
