Accounting firm EY has appointed Dilek Çilingir as the new EY Global Forensic & Integrity Services (EY Forensics) Leader, effective immediately.

Çilingir takes over from Andrew Gordon, who retired in June 2024. She will lead the global team of 5,500 professionals in enhancing audit quality and expanding support for organisations in managing financial reputations and integrity.

The EY Forensics team comprises forensic, compliance, regulatory, law enforcement, and technology experts who assist organisations in navigating crises such as fraud, regulatory breaches, and cyber-attacks.

They also focus on embedding integrity within compliance programmes to mitigate ethical and reputational risks.

In her most recent position before this appointment, Çilingir served as EY Global Talent Leader for Assurance services.

She was responsible for the talent strategy and implementation across EY Assurance services, leading a team of 130,000 people in more than 140 countries.

Dilek Çilingir has 30-year experience in leadership positions in forensics, assurance, and consulting. She has previously led EY Assurance services in Turkey and established a Forensics practice in ten countries.

Prior to her tenure at EY, Çilingir worked for eight years with a US global professional services firm, managing Fortune 500 client engagements and a diverse team.
