Deloitte US has announced the appointment of Jason Salzetti as the new chair and CEO of Deloitte Consulting.

Effective 27 January 2025, Salzetti will replace Dan Helfrich, who has held the position since 2019.

Deloitte US CEO Jason Girzadas said: “Dan successfully navigated our consulting team through a pandemic and a dynamic, ever-changing market, all while maintaining a strong focus on team culture and our clients’ success. He leaves this role with our consulting business in a position of strength.”

Salzetti started his career at Deloitte and has nearly 30 years of experience in leading major technology and business transformations.

His experience within the company includes leading the integrated state, local, and higher education practice.

Girzadas added: “Jason is a visionary leader with a proven track record of achieving impactful results for our clients and fostering a culture of apprenticeship and growth for our professionals.

“As we navigate a complex and dynamic environment, we are confident that Jason will drive Deloitte’s continued market leadership while bringing innovation and transformation capabilities to our clients to help position them for their success.”

As an advisor to Deloitte’s clients, Salzetti has recently led the Government and Public Services practice, focusing on mission-centric and digital transformation projects for various sectors, including government, education, and non-profit agencies in the US.

Earlier in December 2024, Deloitte expanded its alliance with Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) to deploy the newly launched HPE Private Cloud AI with NVIDIA. 

Deloitte is engaged in providing audit, consulting, tax and advisory services to many brands, including more than 8,500 private companies in the US.
