US-based Citrin Cooperman Advisors has acquired all the assets of Signature Analytics, a San Diego-based outsourced accounting and advisory company.

The financial details of the deal that concluded this month remain undisclosed.

Signature Analytics joins Citrin Cooperman with two partners and more than 65 professionals, further expanding its presence across Connecticut and New England.

Founded in 2008, Signature Analytics provides services for businesses and non-profits across the US.

Signature Analytics founder and president Jason Kruger and CEO Pete Heald said: “This combination with Citrin Cooperman Advisors LLC is a perfect fit for the next step in the Signature Analytics journey.

“The alignment between culture and professional service could not be stronger. We can’t wait to get started.”

Citrin Cooperman Advisors Advisory president Dan Shaughnessy said: “Outsourced accounting is one of the fastest-growing services Citrin Cooperman offers its clients.

“We are lucky to be able to add such a great group of professionals and clients that align so closely to what we are building to help improve the businesses and lives of our collective clients.”

This latest acquisition follows Citrin Cooperman’s agreement to acquire all the assets of Teplitzky, a Woodbridge, Connecticut-based accounting, consulting and tax practice specialising in the healthcare industry, last month.

Citrin Cooperman has previously acquired several companies including Coleman Huntoon & Brown in Chapel Hill, Mibar in New York City, Keefe McCullough in Fort Lauderdale, and Maier Markey & Justic in White Plains, New York, among others.

The company currently provides non-attest and business advisory services.
