Capstone Accounting and Tax, which offers tax, accounting, and advisory services, has strengthened its foothold in the US with two additions.
The firm has expanded into Colorado through the addition of Keller & Mendoza CPAs, with Maury Keller becoming a partner at Capstone.
Vail Valley-based Keller & Mendoza CPAs offers tax strategy, business consulting, real estate investment advising, succession planning, and business accounting services.
Keller, with more than three decades of experience in tax strategy, business consulting, and financial advisory services, will continue heading the Vail office.
Clients of Keller & Mendoza CPAs will maintain their relationships with existing team members while gaining access to Capstone’s broader resources and technology infrastructure.

Concurrently, Capstone has integrated Sargent CPA, enhancing its reach in Klamath Falls, Oregon.
Will Sargent, who has over 14 years of experience in accounting, tax strategy, and business advisory services, also joined Capstone as a partner.
Sargent CPA’s existing client base will continue to work with their advisors, now supported by Capstone’s expanded team and advisory services.
As part of this deal, the Klamath Falls office has relocated to Capstone’s premises at 422 S 5th Street, Klamath Falls, OR 97601.

Founded in 2004, Capstone Accounting and Tax serves both businesses and individuals.
Earlier this month, the firm received an investment from San Diego-based private equity firm Seaside Equity Partners.
Financial terms of the investment were not disclosed.
