Accountancy and business advisory firm BDO has announced the recruitment of two new partners to enhance its service offerings in the UK.

The company has expanded its team by appointing Steve Ringham and Andrew Orgill.

Ringham, who previously worked at Deloitte, has been appointed as an audit partner in the Thames Valley and South West region.

With over two decades of experience in the industry, he will focus on mid-market businesses, particularly within the consumer sector, and will operate from the Reading office.

On the other hand, Orgill has joined BDO as a tax partner, bringing expertise in international corporate tax and experience in advising large multinational corporations.

He will concentrate on supporting organisations with significant intellectual property in the technology, life sciences, and consumer sectors, based in the London office.

Orgill comes to BDO from EY.

Last month, BDO strengthened its risk advisory services by introducing a new team in Perth, Australia, focusing on AI and cyber threats.
