Baker Tilly International has named Ian Halligan as its global head of tax, with the appointment becoming effective immediately.
Halligan will be based in Washington, DC, US, and will coordinate with tax professionals across the network.

He has more than 30 years’ experience in international tax matters, advising expatriates, inpatriates and high-net-worth clients. Halligan began his career in London before relocating to Chicago in 2001, and has been practising in Washington, DC since 2022.
Dual-qualified in the UK and US, Halligan currently leads international tax services for Baker Tilly in the US.

The appointment follows Baker Tilly International’s recent announcement of record global revenues of $6.8bn for the year ending 31 December 2025 (FY25). The figure represents a 21% increase on the prior year.
