“Investing in our people remains a priority as we strive to deliver the highest level of service and with Jason and Harry it means we benefit from their hard work and dedication as they develop into the accountants and business advisors of the future.”
Jason Collins, an accounts senior working in the Accounts and Business Advisory team, has passed all 15 exams required for the ACA qualification. He is expected to become fully qualified in August this year.
A graduate of the University of Bath, Collins joined Azets in 2023, having previously worked at Saica Group and XPS Pensions Group.
Jason said: “I enjoy the analytical and problem-solving nature of accounting, particularly the opportunity to help clients understand their financial position and make informed decisions.”
Tax senior Harry Collins has obtained both ACA and CTA qualifications. He works across personal and corporate tax, advising a range of small and medium-sized enterprise clients.
He joined Azets in 2022 after completing an honours degree in accounting and finance at Bournemouth University.
Harry said: “Working my way through the qualifications certainly helps to strengthen my technical expertise by learning both academically and practically and it enables me to become a stronger member of the team.”
In February this year, Azets appointed Dave Riley as partner in its Manchester restructuring and insolvency team.
