Moore Australia (WA), an independent member of the Moore Australia network, has promoted Chris Linnell to director and Jessica Spark to associate director in its local government services team.
Linnell brings executive and advisory experience from local government roles in Western Australia (WA), South Australia (SA) and New Zealand.

His background includes CEO positions, as well as senior roles covering corporate, community and planning functions.
Linnell said: “Local government has been a significant part of my professional life for more than 25 years, so stepping into the director role at Moore Australia (WA) is both an exciting opportunity and a privilege.
“I look forward to building on the strong relationships already established by the team and working with local governments across Western Australia.”
Spark has worked with Moore Australia’s local government clients for more than ten years.
Her areas of expertise include integrated planning and reporting, community engagement and long-term strategic planning.
Commenting on her promotion, Spark said: “I am pleased to move into the associate director role and look forward to continuing to work alongside the awesome local government services team, providing strategic advisory services and robust frameworks supporting meaningful, practical and sustainable outcomes for our clients and communities.”
Working with Russell Barnes, Samantha Bresciani and the wider local government services team, Spark and Linnell will support the next phase of Moore Australia’s offering.
Their work will cover advisory, assurance, financial, governance, planning and reporting services based on the company’s experience.
