Operating from Barnet, Joshua Leigh & Co supports owner-managed enterprises, limited companies, partnerships and private individuals across North London and nearby regions.

Its service remit covers audit, accounts preparation, bookkeeping, individual tax, Making Tax Digital (MTD) compliance and VAT services.

The practice, led by Joshua Finn, also handles payroll administration, workplace pension auto-enrolment and company secretarial duties.

Following the transaction, Finn and his team will remain at the Barnet office. Day-to-day contacts for existing clients will not change, although clients will now be able to draw on specialist services from across the wider bk plus organisation.

bk plus CEO Shaun Knight said: “Joshua Leigh & Co has built a respected practice in North London, supported by an experienced team and strong relationships with its clients. The firm’s commitment to delivering responsive, partner-led advice aligns closely with our approach.

“North London is an important market for bk plus and this acquisition further strengthens our presence in the region. We look forward to working alongside Joshua and his team as they continue to support clients and pursue future growth opportunities.”

With this addition, bk plus now operates more than 60 offices across the UK, employing in excess of 1,000 personnel.

Joshua Leigh & Co managing director Joshua Finn said: “Joining bk plus represents a positive step for both our clients and our team.

“Clients will continue to receive the same high standard of personal, responsive service they have always had from us. We have always focused on building long-term relationships and delivering practical advice, and that will remain unchanged.

“Being part of a larger organisation gives us access to additional resources and specialist expertise that will benefit clients as their requirements become more complex. It allows us to broaden the support we can provide while maintaining the personal service that has been central to our business.”

In July this year, bk plus acquired Riches and Co. Accountants in Cobham, Surrey.
