Domon’s career began 35 years ago at Cecaudit International, where IECnet co-founder Hervé Abouly was the managing partner.

He developed his early career at the company, quickly rising to a leading position.
He worked as an accountant and tax adviser, as well as an auditor, and also taught accountancy and tax subjects.
As time went on, his professional duties and international engagements expanded significantly, to the point where his role at Cecaudit International could no longer fully reflect the breadth of his activities.
He subsequently moved to Endrix, taking with him his professional network, including his relationships within IECnet.
Domon joined the IECnet board in 2007 as treasurer and was soon appointed chairman, a role he held until 2014.
He returned to the board in 2020 and had served as chairman since then.
According to IECnet, he led the organisation with foresight, commitment and a steady flow of new initiatives.
In acknowledgement of his service to the network, he was granted Honorary Member status.
IECnet said Domon’s death represents a major loss to his family, friends and the wider IECnet community, and expressed its deepest sympathies to his relatives and all colleagues who worked with him.
Founded in 1987, IECnet has around 65 member companies across six continents and is part of the global association Forum of Firms.
In March last year, IECnet expanded its global network with the addition of three new member companies.
