PwC Channel Islands has confirmed two new partner admissions in its Audit practice as part of a wider round of promotions across the islands.
The firm has promoted Guernsey-based Erick Dengura and Jersey-based Lelani Wright to Partner within the Audit team. Both are long-standing members of PwC Channel Islands.

In a statement, PwC said the appointments reflect “sustained growth” in demand for assurance services.
Wright studied at Nelson Mandela University in Port Elizabeth. She joined PwC in South Africa in 2011 and relocated to the firm’s Jersey office in 2013. Her financial services experience includes fiduciary services and asset and wealth management.
Dengura studied at the University of Zimbabwe and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2012. He joined PwC in Guernsey in 2013. His work includes supporting financial services clients across banking, insurance, and asset and wealth management.
PwC Channel Islands said 44 employees have been promoted across Jersey and Guernsey in its latest promotions round.
The firm also promoted four directors. These include Jersey-based assurance director Gemma Sutton, who was promoted in January, and tax director Aoife Furey, who relocated to Jersey from PwC Dubai in May.
Jersey-based assurance director Sarah Hassell returned at the start of the year after two years at PwC in Singapore. In Guernsey, Ben Backhouse has moved into a global director role within the PwC Network.
PwC Channel Islands has also appointed Dr Christie Viljoen in Jersey as lead economist.
The latest promotions also include 15 new senior managers and 22 managers across multiple disciplines.
