In a statement, FD said the transaction “establishes” the company’s presence in the New England market and “deepens its reach” in the Greater Boston area.

The combined operation will serve a broad mix of businesses, family owned enterprises and individual clients.

FD CEO Jeremy Jones said: “We are excited to officially welcome the Gray, Gray & Gray team to Frazier & Deeter and to expand our presence in the New England market.

“The Greater Boston area is a market defined by innovation and exceptional talent.

“Gray, Gray & Gray shares our commitment to client service and culture, making this a natural fit as we continue to grow thoughtfully and intentionally.”

Following completion, Gray, Gray & Gray will be integrated into FD’s operational and support framework.

This includes technology, talent development, finance, marketing and business development, with the companies stating that the structure is intended to maintain client continuity while fostering collaboration and long-term growth.

Gray, Gray & Gray managing partner James DeLeo said: “While we have always been proud to be an independent firm, joining Frazier & Deeter, a firm we have had a relationship with for over 30 years, is an exciting next chapter for our firm.

“This partnership allows us to preserve our client-first approach while providing access to broader resources, expanded advisory services and new opportunities for our people.

“It was important to find a firm that shares our values, and we found that in Frazier & Deeter.”

In May this year, FD acquired Minneapolis-based accountancy practice Copeland Buhl.
