BDO has added Al Milne as a partner in its tax practice, strengthening the company’s Share Plans and Incentives (SP&I) capabilities in Manchester.

Milne brings nearly two decades of experience in professional services.

He will concentrate on structuring and delivering incentive arrangements for mid-market clients, with a focus on aligning schemes with business objectives.

Alongside his advisory work, he has been given responsibility for developing and widening the SP&I offering across the North West region.

He joins BDO from Claritas Tax, where he served as head of Equity Reward.

Earlier in his career, he spent a decade at KPMG.

BDO UK recently scaled up its summer insight programme for young people, making more than 1,100 places available nationwide.

The company plans to host 20 in-person Insight Days over the summer, targeting students aged 16 and above in schools, colleges and universities.
