Accounting practice Grant Thornton UK has added four equity partners across forensic services, indirect tax, public sector consulting and asset recovery practices.
Chris Boddy becomes an equity partner in forensic and investigation services. He brings more than 20 years of experience in forensic accountancy focused on financial crime and governance matters.

In Indirect Tax, Irena Scullion steps up to equity partner after more than 15 years advising on complex and fast-evolving tax issues, particularly in the technology, media and telecommunications and consumer sectors.
Public sector consulting specialist Simon Christian joins the partnership with more than 18 years’ experience across local government and the wider public sector, supporting large-scale transformation and financial sustainability projects.
Ami Sweeney is promoted to equity partner in asset recovery. She has 17 years of experience in cross-border insolvency and asset recovery work.
The company said the appointments support its partnership growth strategy, which includes continued investment in senior leadership.
This year, Grant Thornton UK has brought in 40 equity partners to date. It aims to have 160 partners by the end of 2027.
