The practice has operated for around 20 years, supporting local companies with domestic growth and international expansion.

Its 32-person team serves mainly small and medium-sized businesses, and also audits public interest entities.

Clients include companies listed on the Nasdaq Riga, along with entities involved in initial public offerings and bond issues.

RSM Latvia managing partner Andrejs Ponomarjovs said: “RSM’s clear commitment to quality, integrity and personalised client service closely mirrors our own founding principles.

“The network’s emphasis on understanding clients’ needs and delivering tailored, partner-led services reflects the way we have built and developed our firm over the past two decades.

“The decision for us to continue our success story by transitioning to RSM was driven by the network’s collaborative culture, practical approach, and focus on delivering value to our people and our clients.”

The move expands RSM’s footprint in Latvia, while also supporting RSM Latvia’s international ambitions.

The deal also follows RSM’s reported 12% year-on-year revenue growth in 2025 across Europe, the Middle East and Africa, and an 86% increase in revenue in the region over the past three years.

RSM International CEO EJ Nedder said: “We are delighted to welcome Andrejs and the RSM Latvia team to RSM at a time of great opportunity.

“RSM Latvia joins a network providing consistently high-quality services that ensures we continue to lead the global middle market with diligence and purpose.

“Their arrival strengthens our presence in the Baltics and further embeds our trusted model of RSM’s rigorous global standards combined with trusted local expertise.”

Earlier this year, RSM UK appointed Caroline Hooley as its creative and communications director.
