The practice works with owner-managed companies, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and private clients across Yorkshire.

By joining Hayward Wright, Auker Rhodes will operate within a larger group structure, with access to additional technology platforms and back-office resources.

The move is also intended to broaden the range of specialist accountancy and advisory services available to its client base.

Under the terms of the deal, Rudloff will stay with the business on a full-time basis and will head Hayward Wright’s Leeds operation from the existing Yeadon office.

Kenyon and Doyle will continue to be involved in a consulting capacity, supporting the local team and its clients.

Rudloff said: “We are delighted to be merging with Hayward Wright Accountancy & Advisory as we continue to develop and grow our practice here in Leeds.

“We have always been committed to providing exceptional service and advice to our clients, and this will not change.

“Merging with Hayward Wright and joining the wider group will only bring additional benefits to our clients and our team.”

The merger gives Hayward Wright a foothold in Yorkshire and marks its first expansion outside of its established Midlands base.

It follows a period of growth for the group, combining organic expansion with recent transactions including the purchases of Wharfside Accountancy in Birmingham and Ansell Munden in Cannock.

Hayward Wright director and acquisitions head Alistair Hayward-Wright said: “This is an exciting new chapter for the Hayward Wright group as we expand our footprint and presence beyond the Midlands and into Leeds and the wider Yorkshire region.

“Merging with like-minded practices across the UK is a key part of our strategic growth plan, and from the outset, we knew that Auker Rhodes was a great fit.”
