US-based accounting and advisory practice Haefele Flanagan has acquired fellow company Mig Murphy Sistrom, which focuses on serving non-profit organisations.
Financial details of the deal have not been divulged.

Founded in 2002, Mig Murphy Sistrom offers outsourced accounting, chief financial officer (CFO) and controller advisory services (CAS), as well as financial support tailored to mission-driven entities.
Under the deal, Mig Murphy Sistrom and its team will be integrated into Haefele Flanagan.
For Haefele Flanagan, the transaction adds expertise in non-profit financial management, grant compliance and sector-specific operations, while extending the company’s presence in the south-eastern US.
The company added that the move supports its longer-term plan to develop as an advisory-led practice built around sector specialisation, client impact and continued growth in key markets including non-profit organisations.
