Professional services company S&W has appointed Marcus Peaker to lead the executive compensation practice, a key section of its employee solutions offering within its business tax division.
Peaker has spent more than two decades in senior pay, most recently serving as the head of PricewaterhouseCoopers’ executive compensation skills group.

His background includes advising a wide spectrum of FTSE‑listed businesses on the structure and operation of both cash‑based and equity‑linked incentive plans.
He has also worked with remuneration committees across different international markets, and guided companies on governance‑related pay issues, shareholder engagement and the design of reward packages ahead of stock market listings.
His board‑level advisory work spans the UK, Ireland, the US, Australia and South Africa for organisations including the Berkeley Group, Ocado and Watches of Switzerland.

In November last year, S&W acquired accountancy practice Haines Watts Scotland, which has offices in Edinburgh, Kirkcaldy and Stirling.
