Tree Accountancy, based in Manchester, UK, has taken on the entire client portfolio of Pomegranate Consulting in the UK.

The transaction is designed to deepen Tree’s reach across the region, giving the practice access to a broader range of business clients while expanding its accounting and advisory workload.

It aligns with Tree’s ongoing expansion plans focusing on increasing its customer base and broadening the scope of services it can deliver.

The deal also involves staff transfers from Pomegranate.

As part of the move, Azeem Jilani joins Tree as tax senior and Joanna Mazik as accountant. Simon Vincent will join the practice as manager.

This is Tree’s second acquisition within a three-year period.

In a statement, Tree said that it is building its position in the accounting sector by pairing compliance and traditional accountancy work with advisory services.

It uses digital tools and technology to help businesses manage regulatory demands, adopt online systems and pursue growth opportunities.
