Gravita, a UK-based full-service accountancy practice, has made six new appointments in roles spanning tax, legal and risk, VAT, outsourced finance and audit segments.
The new hiring is aimed at strengthening the company’s “leadership capability” across London and the regions.

The company appointed Genevieve Morris as Tax head. She has more than two decades of experience advising UK companies on corporate tax compliance, reporting and advisory work, including overseas expansion and mergers and acquisitions.
The company has created the role of chief legal and risk officer and named Ian Cokayne to the position. The appointment is intended to address the needs of a client base that ranges from smaller and mid-sized companies to those with increasing scale.
Cokayne moves from Grant Thornton, where he headed the Office of the General Counsel and the Quality & Risk function.
In Bristol, Gravita has appointed David Gage as VAT partner, taking the company’s VAT-focused team to eight. Gage has more than a decade of experience across sectors such as financial services, property, professional practices and not-for-profit organisations.
