The partnership will see Oracle introduce its Smart Operations tools, drawn from its Oracle Fusion Cloud Supply Chain & Manufacturing (SCM) suite to clients at The Factory.
These tools are designed to improve manufacturing execution by using cloud computing, the Internet of Things, and AI to connect operational technology (OT) with information technology systems.
Oracle Supply Chain Planning and Execution Product Strategy vice-president Vikash Goyal said: “Together with Deloitte, we are enabling manufacturers with Oracle Cloud SCM solutions to enhance efficiency, increase production and strategically plan for the future.”
Oracle’s involvement is intended to create a link between various business functions—including finance, sales, human resources, and marketing and manufacturing processes.
