Kay Johnson Gee is a central Manchester-based firm of chartered accountants and business advisors, providing expert advice in taxation, corporate finance, audit, accounts, payroll and insolvency. Founded in 1948, it employs more than 60 staff with 6 partners. Managing Director Julian Beressi is a Chartered Accountant with over 25 years’ experience of advising owner-managed businesses across all industries on a wide variety of commercial matters.

On joining Xeinadin, Beressi said: “We’ve followed this movement since May 2018. I’ve been very impressed with the organisation’s vision and ability to amalgamate a substantial community of accountants across both the UK and Ireland regions. Our firm has conducted much due diligence on the entire acquisition process. We are impressed with both the ability to merge 120+ independent practices and the outlook for the firms to work together for mutual benefit.”

Xeinadin also reports the joining of Irish firm BCC Accountants. BCC typically acts for SMEs across the Ireland region. Whilst the firm has a diverse range of clients and businesses, it acts as accountant and tax adviser to a large number of medical practices. Based in Ashbourne, Co. Meath, the firm employs 21 staff, with the two main partners having 20 years of experience in partnership.

Partner Sandra Clarke, FCA and AITI, was elected to the Council of the Irish tax institute (ITI) in 2010. She is currently vice president of the ITI and will become Deputy in September 2019 and then President in September 2020. She represents ITI on 2 TALC Committees (Tax Administration Liaison Committee).

On becoming part of Xeinadin, Clarke said: “I join many others who are supporting this increasingly world-class accountancy model which is being built on the foundations of a vast level of practitioners’ experiences, knowledge, expertise and specialisms. When we pool this together then our existing and future clients can be best served.”
