Grant Thornton US has reported revenue
growth of 10 percent to $1.2 billion in the year ended 31 July
2008.
The growth was down 16 percent from the previous period. Chief executive Edward Nusbaum noted: “The growth of Grant Thornton in the face of a very challenging economic landscape has been made possible, once again, by the distinctive people our culture attracts. Treating our people the way we expect them to treat our clients is moving our brand into a category of its own.” Highlights from the year include more than 2,000 new client engagements and revenue from new international clients accounting for more than 25 percent of business.
