Grant Thornton US has reported revenue
growth of 10 percent to $1.2 billion in the year ended 31 July

The growth was down 16 percent from the previous period. Chief
executive Edward Nusbaum noted: “The growth of Grant Thornton in
the face of a very challenging economic landscape has been made
possible, once again, by the distinctive people our culture
attracts. Treating our people the way we expect them to treat our
clients is moving our brand into a category of its own.” Highlights
from the year include more than 2,000 new client engagements and
revenue from new international clients accounting for more than 25
percent of business.
