HLB International has admitted Menzies as a
member firm – the first step towards re-building its UK
coverage after the recent collapse of Vantis.

Menzies reported revenue of £26.6 million in
the year to 10 April 2010, making it among the top 25 firms in the
country.

Menzies has seven offices in England’s
south-east. In order to provide full UK coverage, HLB International
is in talks with several other firms to form a federation.

Menzies, previously a member of the
association Praxity, said a growing amount of international work
motivated the move to the HLB network.

“Having been an active member of Moores
Rowland International and subsequently Praxity for the last ten
years, we have built some excellent personal relationships with
other member firms,” senior partner Mike Sands said.

“However, given our growth plans, we believe
that membership of HLB International presents a significant
opportunity to further extend the international work that we
do.”
