UHY Hacker Young appoints tax partner

Chris Mills has been appointed partner at UHY Hacker Young. partner Chris Mills,

Mills, who was formerly a tax director at Grant Thornton, has worked for fourteen years at a senior level specialising in advising on tax issues to clients both in the UK and internationally. He also specialised in working with high net worth individuals, trusts and succession planning for families.

Mills appointment at UHY Hacker Young follows that of corporate taxation specialist Gary Shortman and Bob Savic, who leads the group’s Russian and Eastern European desk.

 “London is the base for many wealthy and highly mobile foreign and UK individuals who face a range of challenging tax issues,” UHY Hacker Young London managing partner Ladislav Hornan said.

“As we continue to build on the work we undertake for high net worth clients, Chris’s extensive knowledge of private client issues, both in the UK and internationally will boost the team further still in this growing and complex area of tax.”
