Smith & Williamson, a UK member firm of
Nexia International, has appointed Joss Dalrymple and Tim Lyford to
lead the firm’s personal and corporate tax teams.
Dalrymple is the head of private client tax
services. He joined the firm from Coopers & Lybrand in 1992 as
assistant to Smith & Williamson’s then head of private client
tax services.
Lyford, who qualified at Deloitte and joined
Smith & Williamson in 1994, is the head of corporate tax.
The pair will manage more than 270 people in
10 offices across the UK.
“By building a more cohesive national
practice, we aim to more efficiently pool our resources, skills,
technical information and market research,” Lyford said.
“This should in turn enable us to provide a
better value service to our clients.”
