Former US McGladrey & Pullen senior
partner Bob Dohrer has been appointed as global director of quality
at RSM International.
In his new London-based role Dohrer will be in
charge of the oversight of policies, procedures, tools and
processes aimed to maintain high quality services by member firms.
He will also be responsible for some aspects of the inspection
programmes for tax and advisory services.
During his 23 years with McGladrey &
Pullen, Dohrer has participated in the US technical
standard-setting process and worked with national standard setters
and regulators. He also chairs the RSM Transnational Assurance
Services executive committee.
“With rapidly evolving regulatory requirements
set by standard setters on a global basis, it is critical RSM
International continues to contribute at the highest level with
developments in our profession,” RSM International chief executive
Jean Stephens said.
