German multi-disciplinary firm Rödl &
Partner has grown global revenue by nearly 5% to €246.4m in the
year to December 2011. The firm has increased its headcount to
3,200.

Rödl & Partner said growth was driven by
strong demand for international transaction work as companies
exploit the financial crisis to expand inside and outside of
Germany and strengthen their presence in emerging markets.

Consulting in M&A, company succession,
compliance, real estate transactions, financing, rationalisation,
restructuring and renewable energy showed strong growth while the
firm grew legal services revenue by 8%.

Rödl & Partner said it recorded strong
growth in China, Russia, Latin America and Italy. The firm plans to
open new offices in New York, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan and
Africa.

“Our key driving force behind the success is
the international project business. In this area we are able to
fully exploit our strengths of multi-disciplinary services and
cross-border consulting,” Rödl & Partner chief executive
Christian Rödl said.
