Ellen Rotenberg has been appointed tax
partner at PwC US banking, capital markets and insurance practice,
based in New York.

Rotenberg has17 years of experience dealing
with tax issues in the banking industry. In her new role she will
help to serve key strategic financial services clients both in New
York and nationally.

Prior to joining PwC, Rotenberg served as
KPMG’s national tax leader for banking and finance business unit.
She was also partner in charge of New York financial services tax
practice and a member of KPMG’s Global Financial Services Steering
Committee.  

Rotenberg was also a partner in KPMG’s
Washington national tax practice where she worked with financial
institutions on tax issues and corporate restructurings.
