Ian Powell has been re-elected as chairman and
senior partner of PwC UK.
His second four-year term will start on 1
July.
Powell joined PwC as a graduate trainee in
1977 and has spent his entire career with the firm.
“There is no doubt that the economic
environment is challenging for us and for our clients but we will
continue to invest in our business to ensure that we are well
positioned to take the opportunities that are available to help our
clients grow,” Powell said.
PwC UK is the largest firm by revenue in the
UK reporting almost £2.2bn in year to 10 June 2011.
