PwC UK names non-executives

PwC UK has appointed five non-executives in accordance to the new governance code for audit firms.

The non-executives are Karen Dunnell, Ian Gibson, Andrew Hamilton, Richard Lapthorne and Paul Skinner.

Sitting on PwC’s UK newly-constituted Public Interest Body, their responsibilities include enhancing confidence in the public interest aspects of the firm’s decision-making and encouraging dialogue between the firm and key stakeholders.

The new governance code, primarily designed to serve shareholders in listed companies, was established by the Financial Reporting Council and the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
