PwC UK has appointed 61 partners.
The partners, among which there are 11 women,
have been appointed across all of the firm’s service lines and 39
of them will take up their positions from 1 July.
PwC chairman Ian Powell said the recruitment
of the partners is part of the firm’s plans to recruit more
partners from a wide range of skill backgrounds. The Big Four firm
will also continue to focus on recruitment in general over the
course of the rest of the year.
“This year, we will bring on board around
2,200 people at student, intern, graduate and experienced levels.
Earlier this month, we also announced that we will be the
first firm to offer a Higher Apprenticeship in professional
services, with 60 places available starting this summer and
autumn,” Powell said.
