PwC Russia appoints IFRS expert

PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) Russia has
appointed Alla Saltykova as its resident director in Kazan.

Saltykova’s role involves developing PwC in
Tatarstan, with a focus on assurance, advisory, tax and legal
services.

Saltykova joined PwC in 1994 as a translator.
She has held roles as energy, utilities and mining sector assurance
director and as acquisition specialist within the global accounting
consulting services department. Saltykova has also worked within
PwC UK’s global accounting consulting services group.

Saltykova has experience rendering audit
services on Russian Accounting Rules accounts and IFRS financial
statements, and has authored a number of IFRS and RAR publications.
She was a manager in the project to assist the Russian Ministry of
Finance in converging RAR with IFRS.
