PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) India has
appointed former Ernst & Young indirect tax leader Vivek Mishra
as executive director of PwC India’s indirect tax practice.
Mishra has 18 years of experience and has
mainly advised companies in the telecom, infrastructure, technology
and manufacturing sectors.
Mishra said he decide to join PwC because he
wants to work with the leading tax practice in India and
globally.
PwC India chairman Gautam Banerjee said
Mishra’s appointment will complete the tax team as the firm
continues to invest in strategic priorities and build its market
position.
“This appointment is part of an ongoing programme within PwC to
ensure we have the best people for the long term success of our
business and our clients,” Banerjee said.
