PwC US has acquired assets of Folio
Technologies, a provider of product portfolio optimisation
solutions.
The acquisition expands PwC’s transaction
services valuation practice.
Folio’s analytic and technical background will
supports PwC’s financial analytics and derivatives service
offering, focusing on the analysis and valuation of complex
financial instruments, such as derivatives, hybrid securities,
hedging instruments and contingent payment agreements.
The principle and director of the new practice
will be Folio founders Hervé Kieffel and Renato Cedolin.
PwC’s valuation services practice has 250
partners and staff and is part of a transaction services practice
with more than 1,000 staff in the US.
