PwC US has acquired assets of Folio Technologies, a provider of product portfolio optimisation solutions.
The acquisition expands PwC’s transaction services valuation practice.
Folio’s analytic and technical background will supports PwC’s financial analytics and derivatives service offering, focusing on the analysis and valuation of complex financial instruments, such as derivatives, hybrid securities, hedging instruments and contingent payment agreements.
The principle and director of the new practice will be Folio founders Hervé Kieffel and Renato Cedolin.
PwC’s valuation services practice has 250 partners and staff and is part of a transaction services practice with more than 1,000 staff in the US.
“The acquisition of assets from Folio exemplifies our entrepreneurial strategy and commitment to enhance our existing service offerings for clients by continuing to invest in innovative platforms and leading talent,” PwC valuation services leader John Glynn said.
