PwC China expands healthcare advisory team

An international healthcare consulting team from ChinaCare Group has joined PricewaterhouseCoopers China (PwC).

The three person consulting team is lead by ChinaCare Group’s former president and senior partner David Wood, who has more than 30 years of international hospital administration and healthcare consulting experience.

Wood has been appointed managing director of healthcare services for PwC China.

The two other ChinaCare staff joining PwC are Xiaofeng Jia and Victor Chen.

Jia is a licensed physician and surgeon who also has and MBA, while Chen has 17 years of experience working for a world leading medical equipment producer in a variety of management and marketing positions. 

Good prospects

PwC global health leader David Levy said the healthcare market in China and the rest of Asia is growing rapidly.

“PwC’s healthcare team will participate in all the sectors of the healthcare industry, including pharmaceutical science, biotech, health insurance, hospital systems as well as government services,” Levy said.
