PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) UK has appointed
Richard Hoare and Chris Venables to its capital projects and
infrastructure team as a director and a partner, respectively.

Venables is a specialist in pension issues for
regulated utilities and infrastructure funds that invest in them.
He has experience in addressing pension challenges across UK
regulated electricity, water, nuclear and telecom companies. He was
previously actuary and corporate pension advisor at Mercer.

Hoare has worked across infrastructure for
more than 20 years in addition to working on development and
delivery of privately financed capital projects and programmes in
the energy and rail, water and wastewater sectors across the
Asia-Pacific, North America and the UK.

The appointments are part of PwC’s strategy to
boost its capital projects and infrastructure team.
