Praxity has appointed Graeme Gordon to the newly created
position of executive director. Praxity have also revealed
that Jos van Huut has taken over as chair and Rick Anderson is the
new vice Praxity - Graeme Gordonchair.

Gordon will be responsible for implementing
Praxity’s strategy, working with member firms on the development of
international business and implementing a recruitment programme for
new firms.

Gordon is a chartered accountant and was
recently the managing director and senior tutor of Emile Woolf
Group – an international training and development firm.  He
was also previously group finance director of a technology company
listed on the London Stock Exchange. 

Praxity said Gordon has international
experience in Europe, Russia, North America, the Far East, the
Indian sub-continent and the Middle East. 

Gordon is a council member of the Institute of
Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and president of the
Thames Valley Society of Chartered Accountants. Before
becoming an accountant, Gordon served in the UK’s Royal
Navy. 

Van Huut takes over the chair from Bill
Fingland, who has retired after serving his three year term. Van
Huut is a senior partner at Mazars Netherlands.

Anderson is the chair of Moss Adams, the
eleventh largest firm in the US.
