Plante Moran to merge with Chicago firm

Plante Moran is to merge with Chicago-based firm Blackman Kallick, effective 1 July.

The newly merged firm is expected to increase Plante Moran’s revenues by about $70m to $375m annual turnover.

Following the merger, the firm will have 2,000 staff across 22 offices in three states and three international offices.

Plante Moran managing partner Gordon Krater said the merger strengthens the firm… to create Chicago’s pre-eminent accounting, tax and consulting firm for clients and staff. It’s incredibly exciting.”
