The National Institute of Accountants in
Australia (NIA) and the Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of
India (ICWAI) have signed an agreement to develop training
programmes.
The institutes say they will both benefit from
the partnership, in developing educational and training programmes,
mutually recognising qualifications and providing a career pathway
for professionals wanting to work overseas.
NIA chief executive Andrew Conway said the
upcoming rebrand of the institute would also provide members of
ICWAI with strong international links.
