New PwC leadership structure is revealed

PricewaterhouseCoopers has revealed the makeup of its new service line and functional leadership teams that will report to the network’s global leadership under a new international structure.

Donald McGovern of the US firm has been appointed global leader of assurance and will take over from Australian Rob Ward. PwC UK managing partner Richard Collier-Keywood is to head tax, taking over from PwC US partner Gene Donnelly. Juan Pujadas of the US becomes global leader of advisory.

Other key appointments include Moira Elms of the UK, who leads people and culture, and brand and communications. Edgardo Pappacena of the US begins the newly-created role of leader of global strategic sourcing while the UK’s Peter Wyman is global leader of public policy and regulatory matters.

US partner Donald Almeida has been appointed leader of global clients and markets, Pierre Coll of France will take charge of risk and quality, and Australian Tony Harrington will lead global strategy and network transformation.

In addition to the new appointments, Javier Rubinstein of the US remains PwC’s global general counsel and Paul Boorman of the UK continues as global leader of operations.
