The Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (HKICPA) has appointed Ms Margaret W.S. Chan as the Institute's new Chief Executive and Registrar. Chan will assume her new position on 11 July 2019.

Announcing the appointment, HKICPA President Mr Patrick Law said: "Margaret has excellent business experience and the drive to help us take the Institute to the next level of development. I am personally very pleased that we have been able to attract someone with her calibre and track record to lead the Institute through the major challenges and opportunities ahead."

Prior to joining the Institute, Chan worked for the Hong Kong Housing Society as Director of Corporate Planning and Finance.
