MSI Global Alliance (MSI) has entered its 30th year on a positive note announcing four new members drawn from a wide geographic area
The new members include Japanese law firm Sonderhoff & Einsel based in Tokyo, which joins MSI with 14 partners. Ahnse Law Offices, based in Seoul Korea also joins, as does the Warsaw and Wroclaw based accountancy firm Credos Accounting Services. The new members are completed by the accountancy firm Progress Services based in Quito, Ecuador.
MSI was founded in 1990 by the London based accountants, Macintyre (now known as haysmacintyre) and the Dusseldorf multidisciplinary firm Strater (now known as ADKL – Abels Decker Kuhfuß & Partner). They saw a need for an international association comprised of accountants, tax advisers and lawyers that could serve clients across various international jurisdictions. Since then the association has grown exponentially and today is represented through 260+ members in over 100 worldwide.
From the outset collaboration has been a prime focus for MSI, something that is reflected in the ever increasing amount of cross-border work members are performing on behalf of their clients.
Commenting on the anniversary of MSI Global Alliance CEO Tim Wilson said, “This year represents a landmark for us that we will rightly celebrate. The year will culminate in our annual conference in Sydney in October 2020. We also plan a series of events, publications and communications throughout 2020 to mark this moment in our development as one of the leading associations in the world.
We have recently completed a major strategy exercise and have a clear vision for the future. This will serve us well in the years to come and I am sure this strategy will prove to be attractive to accountancy practices and law firms interested in joining us.”
