MSI Global Alliance has admitted Tbilisi-based
accounting firm Bakashvili & Co as its sole member in
Georgia.

Bakashvili & Co has six partners and 30
staff, focusing on audit, assurance and tax projects.

Founded in 2000, the firm joined MSI Global
Alliance to better serve a growing international client base with
business interests in Armenia, Azerbaijan, Czech Republic, India,
Israel and Turkey.

MSI Global Alliance said the firm rejected an
approach from a Big Four firm several years ago and has opted to
join an association to maintain its independence.

Bakashvili & Co founder and partner, Niko
Bakashvili, is a professor of accounting at Tbilisi University and
was one of the first auditors in the country to receive audit
registration.
