Moritz poised to take charge of PwC US

Robert Moritz will become chairman and senior partner of
PricewaterhouseCoopers US (PwC) on 1 July.

Moritz, who currently leads the
firm’s assurance business, will succeed Dennis Nally, who will
become chairman of PricewaterhouseCoopers International.

Before becoming leader of the assurance
business in 2006, he served as managing partner of the firm’s New
York office and led the US-wide financial services practice.

Moritz has extensive experience serving large
multinational clients in a variety of industries, principally in
the banking, capital markets, insurance, investment management and
real estate sectors.

He also served on a three-year assignment with
PwC’s Japanese member firm where he provided audit and advisory
services to European and US-based financial services organisations
operating in Japan.
