Morison KSi has appointed Amanda Long as its chief executive officer, effective 7 January 2019.
She will replace Liza Robbins, who left the association this year to take the reins at network Kreston International.
Long was recruited from global consumer protection membership organisation Consumers International (CI), where she was director general. CI represents over 200 organisations from 100 countries.
Long has worked in membership organisations for much of her career, including at an international trade association
Graham Tyler, vice-chairman of Morison KSi and recruitment panel member said: “Morison KSi is delighted to welcome Amanda to the team. Her global experience will be extremely beneficial to the organisation and her dynamic personality and friendly approach will go a long way in successfully leading the association.”
The association said her initial focus will be on ‘continuing growth of the association and developing opportunities for member firms to collaborate more closely’.
