MNP, a Canadian member of Praxity, will merge
with accounting firm William Epstein, Chartered Accountants
(William Epstein CA).
William Epstein CA, based in Montréal has two
partners, William Epstein and Howard Epstein and provides
accounting and tax services.
The merger, effective 1 October, will see them
join the team of MNP’s Montréal regional managing partner Louis
Grossbaum.
“In 2008, MNP developed a new strategic plan
to grow from being a regional to a national firm. Bringing in
like-minded firms in Montreal as helped us realise that vision and
we couldn’t be more pleased to have the Epstein team join the MNP
family,” MNP chief executive Daryl Ritchie said.
This is the second merger MNP has announced
this month since releasing plans to merge with Edmonton based
Capital Business Solutions (CBS) in September.
The Epstein team will remain at their current
location, but have plans to move into MNP’s Montréal office early
next year.
