Mid-tier networks strengthen in China

Two mid-tier networks have expanded their
operations in China.

Russell Bedford International has admitted one
of the first partnership accounting firms approved by China’s
Ministry of Finance (MoF) while Kreston International has added an
audit firm in the Guandong province.

Russell Bedford member Hua-Ander CPAs, based
in Beijing, was founded in 1997 by a group of accountants who had
worked together at a Big Four firm. The firm claims to be one of
the first partnerships approved by the MoF.

The firm has 56 staff, five partners and is
led by managing partner Guoqi Wang.

Wang was previously in charge of training and
business advisory services with a Big Four firm in Beijing. In
addition to his CPA qualification, he is also a certified tax
agent.

The other partners at the firm are James
Chang, Judy Ren, Romona Zhao and Theresa Liu.

Hua-Ander CPAs offers a full range of services
from accounting, audit and tax to multidisciplinary advisory and
transaction support.

The firm also offers dual audit services that
meet both Chinese statutory requirements and the IFRS/US GAAP
requirements of multinational corporations.

Guangdong Zhongtianyue CPAs, Kreston’s latest
addition, is located in Guangzhou, Guangdong.

Kreston International said the firm is the
third largest in the Guangdong Province, and has five partners and
178 staff.
