Mark Armour is stepping down from the board of the Financial Reporting council (FRC). He has been a board member and non-executive director since July 2012. Following the publication of the recommendations by Sir John Kingman, the future size and structure of the FRC Board and its successor body will be determined by government.
Armour was previously chief financial officer of Reed Elsevier Group from 1996 until 2012 and of its two parent companies, Reed Elsevier PLC and Reed Elsevier NV. Prior to joining Reed Elsevier he was a partner of Price Waterhouse in London.
